Our researchers observe trends on a global scale and work to develop new
technologies which anticipate future needs. Efforts are underway
on new metals and alloys which will help make future automobiles safer,
more comfortable and more economical.
New products, such as mechanical
on/off stabilizers for 4-wheel drive vehicles (costing about one-third
of electronic stabilizer systems), are facilitated because of the depth
and breadth of our experience. Engineers seek new applications for our
core technologies and find applications in auto door impact beams,
motorcycle frames, agricultural implements, off-road suspension systems
and other new markets. NHK continues to pursue the research and
development of new technologies which will impact both products and
processes of New Mather Metals into the twenty first century. The
company's philosophy, oriented to long term profitability, enables us to
